Moffat County is located in the northwest corner of Colorado. Moffat County is the 2nd largest county in the state of Colorado. The Moffat County Sheriff's Office is responsible for patrolling 4742 square miles and serves a population base of 14,200.
Moffat County's main attractions are the excellent big game hunting, fishing, wildlife viewing, camping, snowmobiling, white water rafting and other outdoor recreational activities, which make Moffat County a great community to raise a family in.
